English

25.2.2010 ( Advanced ) (Writing practice - index)

I am sorry but I do not remember a word of our conversations. I am kidding, this is just an excuse to talk you about what I really want. I would like to write a s about the book I am reading now: Twilight.

Although the book's public objective are teenagers, and I am not that young (I am 38), I am enjoying it a lot.

In the chapter I read yesterday, Bella (this is the name of the main character) discovered that Edward whose she is deeply in love, is a vampire. Edward confessed and explained Bella some of the peculiarities of his kind, for example, although he never sleeps (not even a minute!), he is never tired. I think this is a great quality, if I had it I could do lots of things while my wife and my baby were sleeping. For example, I would study English every day from 1 to 3 and, in one year, I would not have as many problems as I have now to write a short composition like this. I would also go running, for example from 3 to 5, after that I would have a shower and then I would have my breakfast (two glasses of blood of course!).

Vampires also have other skills, they are very strong and can read peoples' mind. This last ability would be very useful, specially on Saturday mornings when I ask to my wife where does she wants to go or what does she want to do, sometimes is difficult to know what she really wants.

My suggestions:

Although teenagers are the target audience for the book, and I am not that young (I am 38), I am enjoying it a lot / really enjoying it.
